Conference Overview
The 8th International Conference on Hypervalent Iodine Chemistry (ICHIC 8), organized by the State Key Laboratory of Elemento-Organic Chemistry at Nankai University, will be held from June 25 to 28, 2025, at Nankai University in Tianjin, China.
The conference is co-chaired by Professors Gong Chen and Chi Zhang from Nankai University, under the theme: "Turning Iodine into Gold!"
Topics will include:
Synthesis, structure, and bonding
Applications in organic synthesis
Mechanistic studies
Applications in material science
Theoretical and spectroscopic studies
Industrial applications
We warmly welcome researchers and young scholars from around the world to join us in discussing the latest advances and promoting the vibrant development of hypervalent iodine chemistry.
The conference will feature invited lectures, oral presentations, and student talks. Outstanding poster awards will also be presented.
